Saltburn Primary School, Windsor Road, Saltburn, Redcar and Cleveland

This school was originally the Girls' High School. It was built in 1903 and designed by Russell & Cooper for West Richmondshire Council in a Georgian style. The architect was Edwin Cooper who was one of the leading architects of his generation. He was born in Scarborough and designed various local educational buildings including Scarborough Technical Schools in 1898-1901. The school later became Saltburn County Junior School.
