Samlesbury C of E Primary School, Samlesbury, Lancashire

This school was built in 1836. It is a good example of a small National School. It bears an inscription; "THIS SCHOOL/Was erected by Subsc=/ ription with aid from/the National Society/for instruction accor=/ding - to the principles/of the Church of/ England as now by Law Established/ Anno Domini/1836" It had separate entrances for boys and girls.
