School House, Low Ellington, North Yorkshire

This school was built in the early 19th century. It has reused carved stones from the nearby Jervaulx Abbey. An Abbey for Cistercian monks was established at Jervaulx in 1156. It was partly destroyed at the suppression in 1537.
