Seascale Primary School, Croft Head Road, Seascale, Cumbria

A class of children with their teacher in the playground taking part in a physical education lesson. A parish school was recorded in Seascale in 1818. It was rebuilt in 1873. A Church of England school was established in 1874. This school replaced the old schools in 1951. It was built to accommodate all Windscale's worker's children.
