Sloswicke's Hospital, East Retford, Nottinghamshire

Sloswicke's Hospital (Almshouse) was founded in 1657. Richard Sloswicke’s will left money to found almshouses “for the maintenance of six poore old men of good carriage and behaviour to the end of the world.” They were rebuilt in 1806 and altered in 1819.
