Smith's Dock Company War Memorial, Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear
This war memorial was built in 1922 for Smith's Dock Co. Ltd. It has the names of the dead from the company in the Great War carved on both sides of memorial. After the First World War many companies built memorials to commemorate the large numbers of their workers who were killed.
