St Bartholomew's Hospital, Christmas Street, Bristol

A 12th century town house that became part of a monastery hospital founded in 1240 by Sir John le Warre. After the dissolution of the monasteries the hospital had many uses. It was Bristol Grammar School 1532-1767. It was the Queen Elizabeth Hospital School 1767-1847. The original gateway leading into the building is still in place.
