St Giles Fair, Oxford, Oxfordshire

Looking into Banbury Road. Passers-by wander through the Fair and a few children take advantage of Henry Hall's swing-boats. A man is selling tickling sticks (bottom right) and, nearby, a woman offers food in paper cones. The annual fair took place at the beginning of September.
