St John's Court, Malmesbury, Wiltshire
Originally built as the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, the building was converted to almshouses and is now a terrace of 3 houses. The hospital was built in the late 12th century, though only the entrance survives. This hospital closed in c1545 and the property was confiscated. The site was purchased by the Old Corporation in 1580 and in c1597 it was converted in to almshouse, then renovated in 1966.
