Stained glass window, Sancreed, Cornwall

Here a miner is pictured in the stained glass window of a Cornish church. He has a candle in his felt hat and a cluster of unused ones around his neck. Behind him is his 'croust', or lunch, tied in a handkerchief and no doubt containing a traditional pasty.
