Stoke Mill, Mill Road, Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk
This watermill was built in 1776 as a flour mill. It was then converted into a paper mill. In 1814-45 it was enlarged by Colmans as their first mustard mill. Although the working day was long (6am - 6pm) and children were employed in the mill, the Colmans were known for their kindness to their employees. Colmans is still a well known brand of mustard to this day.
