Stotfold Mill, Mill Lane, Stotfold, Bedfordshire

Stotfold Mill's 65ft high crooked chimney is a local landmark. Before it closed in 1966 it was the town's last working watermill and had the widest corn-mill waterwheel in the UK. It is on the River Ivel. It is on the site of one of four mills in Stotfold which were listed in the 1086 Domesday Book. After a fire in 1992 the Mill became the property of the Stotfold Mill Preservation Trust. They have worked to restore and open it to the public.
