The Crescent, Gosport, Hampshire

This terrace of houses was built 1829 by a T.E.Owen. The Crescent was intended to be the centrepiece of a new marine town called Anglesea, after its promoter the Marquis of Anglesey. However only half of the crescent and a few flanking houses were ever built.
