The Freemasons Arms Public House, Knutsford, Cheshire

This former silk mill was built in 1754. It was converted into 3 houses in 1818 and then converted into a public house in the 1890s. The building is of special interest in that it demonstrates clearly the 3 phases of its development, each with features of some quality. It is also a significant (and rare) relic of Knutsford's silk industry.
