The Old Almshouses, Cheriton Fitzpaine, Devon

The almshouses at Cheriton Fitzpaine consist of a row of five cottages built of cob and coursed rubble. Four date from the second half of the 17th century, the fifth was added in the 19th century. Each cottage has one room and is two storeys high. The original four are identical in plan.
