The Old House, Station Road, Narborough, Leicestershire

This is a timber framed house with a cross wing dating to the 16th century and a hall range dating to the late 16th-early 17th century. At some point the building was divided into two dwellings but it is now one dwelling again. The timber frame has close studding to the front and right sides of the upper storeys. It is infilled with whitewashed brick and plaster and the roof is thatched. The house is said to have been built in the 1560s for John Bent.
