The Piperwell, Robert's Hill, Icklesham, East Sussex

This medieval tower was the second of the medieval gates of Icklesham. It has also been known as the Ferry Gate and the Land Gate. It was rebuilt in the early 15th century after the French army had destroyed the town in 1380.
