Town Hall, Barnsley, South Yorkshire

This town hall was built in 1933 by Briggs and Thornely of Liverpool. It is built in a Classical style of architecture. The Town Hall was opened by H.R.H. Edward, Prince of Wales. He is known for being the only British monarch in history to abdicate the throne.
