Town Wall, Kettlewell Lane, Kings Lynn, Norfolk

This is part of the Medieval Town wall. It ran from Purfleet to Kettle Mill. Its building was probably associated with grants to build a wall issued in 1266. It was crenellated and almost entire up until 1800. This is when the southern part was destroyed during the building of the railway. Blocked up archways and arrow slits can be seen in the remains.
