Tudor House Museum, Bugle Street, Southampton

This is a Late Medieval town house. It was built in its present form mainly by Sir John Dawtrey at some time between 1491 and 1518. It incorporates a banqueting hall that was built a hundred years earlier. It was later the home of the Lord Chief Justice of Henry VIII, Sir Richard Lyster. In was restored in c1911 and presented to the town as a Museum.
