Union Flour Mill (Hovis Mill/Publicity Works), Union Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire

Built in 1831 as a flour mill, this site has become associated with its owners' eponymous leading brand of bread. By 1914 the firm had expanded to the extent that the mill was no longer a feasible place to grind the flour and instead was used to manufacture tins and bags for the company.
