Wall painting in the church of St Agatha, Landport, Hampshire

The church of St Agatha, Landport, was built in 1893-5. The apse was painted in 1901 by Heywood Sumner. Its central focus is Christ in Majesty, surrounded by Christian symbols and a Biblical text with the sun at the top of the dome.
