William Jones' Almshouses, Newland, Gloucestershire

These almshouses were built in 1615. They have the inscription "These Almshouses for eight men and eight women Parishioners of Newland and the habitation adjoining for a lecturer, were founded A.D.1615 by Mr. William Jones, Citizen and Haberdasher of London; and he appointed the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers Governors".
