Windmill, East Beach, Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire

This windmill is a tower mill. It was built in c1805 and was in use until it was severely damaged by a fire in 1918. It was then restored in 1987. It is also a very prominent and well known local landmark. It dominates the grassed seafront area known as Lytham Green, and is one of the few windmills surviving in the Fylde of Lancashire.
