Witley Court, Great Witley, Worcestershire

Witley Court as seen from the gardens, with the Perseus and Andromeda fountain in the foreground. The existing house was converted into a vast Italianate mansion in the 19th century by John Nash whilst the gardens were landscaped by William Nesfield. The house was gutted by fire in 1937. This property is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
