Workers housing, Reform Row, Wath Road, Elsecar, South Yorkshire

Employers often needed to supply their workforce with accommodation, the quality of which varied greatly. Earl Fitzwilliam provided some of the best contemporary housing for his workers in the model community of Elsecar. These house were relatively spacious, with small gardens at the back and walled-in area to the front.
