Description

The photographer has noted on the back of the print: 'No 4. The remains of the church, which was gutted in the air raid of Dec 29 1940, were along the N. side of Love Lane. They were removed later. The tower was carefully restored in 1964. Its upper part by Wren'.

The main body of the church was demolished in 1955.
