Description

The photographer was standing close to the corner with Great Winchester Street.

The photographer has noted on the back of the print: 'This church, by Dance Jnr, was slightly damaged in an air raid 1940 (Dec 29?) and then had much more damage from raids in 1941. The thorough restoration was begun in 1961, and finished by July 1962'.
