Description

The photographer has noted on the back of the print: 'No 36. The church's west end is on the E. side of Garlick Hill, and the body of the church is just to the N. of Upper Thames Street. Designed by Wren. Very severely damaged in the air raid of Dec 29 1940. The very thorough restoration was completed by October 1963. Photo taken by Philip E. W. Street'.
