Description

The photographer has noted on the back of the print: 'No 47. Port of London Authority building on right in Trinity Square. Near the Tower of London. This church was mostly destroyed in the air raid of Dec 29 1940. The N. aisle was re-opened 1949. The body of the church re-opened 1957. The spire, designed by Lord Mottistone, built in 1958. The S. W. angle of church completed 1950'.
