Description

St Peter's Church was originally built as the Oxford Chapel for the Chandos Estate in the 1720s. The photographer has noted on the back of the print: 'No 56. Designed by James Gibbs'.

The mid-20th century building in the background is Henrietta House on Henrietta Street.
