Description

The church is 15th century, with an aisled nave and chancel under a continuous roof, west tower, south porch and vestry. It was remodelled by Sir George Gilbert Scott between 1861 and 1863 and restored 1936-1937. During Scott's restoration a second south aisle was added, with a south-western angle buttress and crocketed pinnacles. To the right is the south porch, which has a parapet with pierced quatrefoils and blind arcades on the west side. The porch is gabled and has three pinnacles, with short buttresses with gable caps flanking the arch. In the background is the vestry, with a buttressed west side and triple lancet windows with hoodmoulds.
