Description

The main wall painting on the north wall of the nave dates from the 14th century. It shows the Last Judgement, though the lower section of the painting which depicts the dead rising from their graves has been covered with wood panelling. A later painting, from around 1520, is seen on the right. It features a large figure wearing a robe with long flowing sleeves, though what this painting represents is unclear. It is suggested that it may show the Seven Corporal Acts of Mercy, the Seven Deadly Sins, or the Weighing of Souls.
