Description

The wall painting on the north wall of the nave dates from the 14th century. It shows the Last Judgement, though the lower section of the painting which depicts the dead rising from their graves has been covered with wood panelling. The section in this photograph shows souls - including a bishop and kings - being welcomed into the castle of Heaven by angels. On the right is the figure of St Peter, and perhaps Archangel Michael.
