The photographer’s notes state: ‘no 16 (corner house) St James's Parade. St James's church behind. Looking E across Lower Maudlin Street from Deep Street.'
Noted in red: ‘No 16 and No 15 (behind) were probably damaged in an air raid about 1941, and subsequently demolished.'
From the reverse of the print: 16 St James' Parade was damaged during an air raid in 1941, and was subsequently demolished.
