Description

Bromide copy of a map of the British Isles, dated 1546. It is an historic document as it was the first map of the British Isles ever engraved, with the exception of those published in editions of Ptolemy's Geographia. It was produced by George Lily. There is an attached printed description by E Lynam (1934)
