Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Collingwood (now Colombo) Street from W. No 72 (nearest), 74, 76, 78 & 80 (block of old wooden dwellings) Christ Church churchyard on the left. Near Blackfriars Bridge'.

He has added underneath: '(No 80 was demolished about 1935. The other dwellings severely damaged by enemy action, either in 1940 or 1941. Finally demolished about 1947)'.
