Description

The inn dates from the sixteenth century, with mid-nineteenth and twentieth century alterations. It was built probably to have been a hostelry for travellers and pilgrims from Abbey Cwmhir to Hereford Cathedral. A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Brilley. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory volume, Herefordshire III - North-West.
