Description

A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Croft. This image shows the no longer extant north courtyard of Croft Castle. This image shows the north elevation of the original building looking towards the north-east tower and the west facing doorway to the basement in the east tower, along with two larger basement doorways in the north elevation. The window to the lower left of the image is an original two-light opening dating from the 16th century.
