Description

The area which became the Bedford Park Estate was bought by Jonathan Carr in 1875. Architects for the estate included E W Godwin, Coe and Robinson, and Richard Norman Shaw. Shaw designed the Tower House for Carr's own occupation; the site is now occupied by St Catherine's Court.
