Description

Bayford House, later known as Old Conduit House, is on the corner of Lyndhurst Terrace and Lyndhurst Road. It was built, along with 3 Lyndhurst Terrace, in 1864-1865 by John Burlison with Alfred Bell of Clayton and Bell, for themselves. In 1868 it was converted to one house by Bell and Charles Buckridge, before being re-divided in c1895. The image was taken for Alfred Bell.
