Description

The Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, designed by W F Unsworth, opened on 19th April 1879 but was later destroyed by fire in 1926. This photograph of it was taken for the Shakespearean Show which took place at the Royal Albert Hall between 29th-31st May 1884.
