The photograph of this Victorian detached villa was taken for its owner Mrs Porter Smith who may have been the wife of Henry Porter Smith (1797-1880), who also lived at Sheen Mount and who has a memorial commemorating him in Christ Church, across the road from the house. The land on which the house once stood is now part of Sheen Mount Primary School.
