Description

The architect is recorded in the album as J J Stevens although this has been corrected to C W Stephens in the Bedford Lemere daybook. C W Stephens is known to have been involved in the redevelopment of Hans Place in the 1880s. The photograph shows part of the terrace before more houses were added to the east at numbers 18-20 Hans Place and 26-30 Pont Street.
