Description

The hospital was founded in 1860 by Louisa and Joanna Chandler, for the care of the paralysed and epileptic. The building was designed by the architects M P Manning and J Simpson, and was built 1883-1885. It later became known as the National Hospital for Neurology. The image was taken for the architect, M P Manning.
