Description

The Hospital for Paralysis, later known as the National Hospital for Neurology, was founded in 1860 by Louisa and Joanna Chandler for the care of the paralysed and epileptic. The building was constructed in 1883-1885 to designs by the architects M P Manning and J Simpson.
