Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook lists the architect as J A Cossins. The building has since been demolished, and the area redeveloped to include the municipal offices and public library. Congreve Street was replaced by Congreve Passage, and Edmund Street shortened to make way for Chamberlain Square.
