Description

Blankney Castle, also later known as Blankney Hall, was the seat of the Chaplin family. It was burnt out by fire in the 1940s, although the stable block survives. The image is one of a set taken for H Chaplin. The Bedford Lemere daybook lists the architect as William Bliss Sanders.
