Description

Oatlands Park Hotel was built as a country house in 1794 by Henry Holland for the Duke of York. In 1856 the west wing was added by T H Whyatt, when the building was converted into a hotel. The Bedford Lemere daybook lists the architect as W S Burnett, who may have carried out alterations to the building. The image was taken for Sir William Drake.
