Description

Numbers 1-4 Kempton Villas, two pairs of semi-detached houses, formerly stood on Kempton Road, either side of the junction leading into Central Avenue. In this photograph the houses look newly built with 'LET' signs displayed in first floor windows of both houses. Central Avenue was demolished during construction of Stain Hill Reservoirs, but map evidence suggests that Kempton Road and Kempton Villas survived until the late 20th century.
